The growing roster of new high-rise construction in downtown Chicago has been generating a lot of attention recently, but there are also new rental buildings popping up in the neighborhoods.
In this sponsored video, Sergio & Banks’ Melissa Govedarica recently showed me around a new six-flat which was nearing completion at 1846 N California Ave in Logan Square / West Bucktown.
The six-flat has proved immensely popular with Chicagoans over the years. This one features 4 simplex and 2 duplex units, with rents starting at $1,500 a month. The units have condo-quality finishes, in-unit washers and dryers, balconies or patios, and the rent includes garage parking.
Two units had already been rented by the time of my visit, and Melissa had appointments scheduled for the balance of the day.
