A hat tip to the Huffington Post for a reminder that it’s the time of the year when high-rise residents are advised to close their windows “to avoid the annual migration of high rise flying spiders.”
I can remember marveling at spiders spinning webs outside my window on the 44th floor of the IBM Building more than 30 years ago. The high winds that were normal around the building didn’t seem to disturb the spiders.
