It’s the day before opening day here in Wrigleyville, and the YoChicago staff is all aflutter. The crack of the bat, the roar of the crowd, the hot dogs, the beer, the drunk fans peeing on buildings and tying up traffic…
We know what to expect from the worst kind of Cubs fans (and isn’t it a shame that it only takes several hundred bad apples to spoil the bunch?), but we are intrigued by and a little wary about experiencing firsthand the renovated Wrigley and an opening day that has a lot to live up to after last year’s opener.
