Midtown Square apartments in Glenview target Q4 occupancy

Midtown Square, a mixed-use development on a 2.7 acre site at Glenview Rd and Church St in downtown Glenview, is targeting Q4 2014 occupancy for its 138 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Trammel Crow’s High Street Residential is the developer and FitzGerald Associates is the architecture firm for the project.

Exterior construction is nearing completion, and masonry was being installed along Glenview Road when I stopped by yesterday.

The apartments will have 9-foot ceilings, balconies or patios, and kitchens with quartz counter tops. Building amenities will include a fitness center, sun deck, resident lounge, dog wash station, business center, bicycle storage, concierge station, and heated parking.

Midtown Square is a short walk from the Glenview Metra station. Trains reach Union Station in downtown Chicago in about 35 minutes. A Pace Bus stop outside the building provides direct connections to the Old Orchard and Northbrook Court shopping centers.

Downtown Glenview is a pedestrian-friendly area that has a variety of shops and restaurants. It’s a viable, quasi-urban alternative to some of Chicago’s outlying neighborhoods.
