Construction is underway on The Tides, a 51-story rental tower in the new Lakeshore East community. The building, designed by Loewenberg Architects will have a total of 607 apartments: 54 studios with 495 to 645 square feet, 172 convertibles with 645 to 760 square feet, 274 one-bedrooms from 685 to 1,216 square feet, and 107 two-bedrooms with 1,160 to 1,335 square feet. The Tides will also have 5,000 square feet of retail space, and renters will have access to the Shore Club amenities, including an outdoor pool, landscaped terrace, party suite, billiard room, cafe and fitness center. Lakeshore East is already a hive of construction activity, and developers haven’t even broken ground yet on Aqua and the Parkhomes.
