Joe Magliochetti of Helios Realty and Development was nice enough to send us new interior and exterior renderings of 2800 Lincoln yesterday, so I thought I’d share a few of them with you today.

Three of the nine green condos slated for the corner of Diversey, Lincoln and Racine avenues have sold, Magliochetti says. The project’s two-bedroom / two-bath units start in the $530s, and its three-bedroom / three-bath penthouses start in the $810s.

Ground should break in late May, Magliochetti says. Deliveries will begin early next year.

To get a better sense of how these condos will fit into that wedge-shaped lot, check out the floor plans for all six available layouts on 2800 Lincoln’s recently updated Web site.

Looks similar to a building the building on the NW corner of Greenview and Lincoln.

yeah, and that building is uglier than sin.

Reminds me of a psychedelic battleship.

Which makes me think of Ze Blues Brothers singing “Sink the Bismarck”.

Yes, life is good.

irishpirate,

What the Blues Brothers did to Sink the Bismarck is almost as bad as what Madonna did to American Pie. I guess it’s pirate-friendly music, though.

I just went on YOUTUBE to find the actual Madonna version.

I think putting her on trial at the Hague is appropriate.

As for the Blues Brothers version of “Sink the Bismarck” it was considered near “mythical” for many years.

Probably should have stayed that way.
