This morning, @properties agent Robert Darrow posted a roundup of some of the major price reductions on condo developments that are being sold by @properties on his blog. One of the developments that made that list is 2930 Sheridan, Kroupa Development’s 252-unit condo conversion high-rise at 2930 N Sheridan Rd in Lake View.
The developer previously offered “as-is” and “premium” upgraded homes at 2930 Sheridan, but according to Genna Hill, who is again handling sales after a series of brokerage and name changes, all of the homes are now being sold with the premium upgrades. “Everyone was buying the premium package as it was,” Hill says.
There are currently 93 available one- and two-bedroom homes in the 22-story high-rise, and they’ve all been reduced in price by $40,000 to $50,000.
One-bedroom plus dens that were previously priced from the $240s now start in the $200s; two-bedroom / one-baths that were previously priced from the $260s now start in the $220s; and two-bedroom plus dens that were previously priced from the $340s now start in the $290s.
The largest homes are the most popular, Hill says, adding that about 75 people attended a weekend open house after the price reductions were announced about a week and a half ago.
