Tour 1349 S Wabash – fewer amenities, lower costs

For his first South Loop project, the 78-unit Private Residences of 1349 South Wabash, developer See Wong chose to build a smaller condo high-rise with fewer amenities, lower assessments and prices that appear competitive in the South Loop’s massive market for new-construction. The development is more than 40 percent sold, according to Wong, who says he has an advantage his competitors don’t – a base of buyers coming from Chinatown, in addition to the general South Loop audience.

Here he takes us on a tour of the $360,000 two-bedroom model, which will be a northwest corner unit with two balconies.
