One of the biggest draws for The Columbian is its location at Michigan Avenue and Roosevelt Road, a spot that offers unobstructed views of Grant Park and Lake Michigan and convenient access to stores, restaurants, cultural attractions, and just about every transportation option imaginable.
Lately it’s been able to add a new selling point into the mix — a closeout pricing schedule that has one-bedrooms starting in the $240s, two-bedrooms in the $390s, three-bedrooms in the $690s, and penthouses in the $790s, all with parking included. Figure in unit sizes of 760 to 3,690 square feet, and Sales Director Matt Hollman says you have the lowest price per square foot among new construction projects on Grant Park.
In the video above, Matt guides me through one of the tower’s furnished models, a three-bedroom / 2.5-bath unit with 1,929 square feet. Units in this tier are ready for immediate delivery and are priced from the $700s to $740s, depending on their floor.
At 46 stories, The Columbian, 1160 S Michigan Ave, is the tallest brick building in Chicago. It comprises 220 homes, an entertainment suite opening onto a rooftop sundeck, and a fully equipped fitness center, and is staffed by uniformed personnel 24 hours a day.
