Valentine Dinner Countdown Six

This is the sixth of a week’s worth of suggestions on where to take your honey on Valentine’s Day. We’re talking dinner here. (And yes, I realize that countdowns usually count down.)

Suggestion: Coco Pazzo, 300 W. Hubbard, 312-836-0900.

Chef Tony Priolo is Italian, and a Cubs fan, so he knows all about romance (and heartbreak). That is why he has put together a no-brainer for Valentine’s Day, a guaranteed winner.

Special menu items include Dungeness Crab Ravioli ($24) with leeks and scallops in the shell; Whole Roasted Mediterranean Sea Bass ($33) with baby artichokes and steamed potatoes; and Grilled Beef Tenderloin ($36) with wild mushrooms and matchstick fries, and a black truffle reduction. Finish off the meal with the Fondue for Two dessert ($14), which will end your evening, unlike most seasons at Wrigley Field, on a high note.
