Subscribe: The two towers of 600 Lake Shore Drive are among Francesca Rose‘s favorite new buildings. The towers are considered by many to be some of the best work of the prolific architectural firm of Pappageorge / Haymes. In this video from their walk down Lake Shore Drive earlier this summer, Francesca and Joe Zekas talk about what they like most about the buildings’ design and features.

I had very active retired clients a few years ago and I wanted them to really consider the second tower (the first tower was completed and sold out if I recall correctly). They would have been buying off the floor-plan and I think they were in a bit of a hurry to wait for construction. We ended up in my favorite area of the south loop at 125 East 13th Street ( a nice value, good location). They soon after they flew the coop back to North Carolina for the wife’s art career.
Anywho, we like those buildings. People seem very happy there from what I’ve gathered.
The ‘best work or Pappageorge Haymes’, isn’t saying much.
