Watch the Tilt tilting at the Hancock

by Joe Zekas on 6/9/14

For those among you who have an affinity for watching grass grow and paint peel, we offer a video view of the Tilt at the Hancock tilting.

The website tells you that Tilt “extends out over the Magnificent Mile.” It faces south on the Chestnut Street side of the building and, given the Hancock’s taper, probably doesn’t extend out over the base of the building.

We’re planning to experience the Tilt in the near future but aren’t thrilled about having to reserve a specific half-hour time slot on a specific date. There’s a $5 surcharge (an “introductory rate”) in addition to the $18 / $12 (adult / child, wait in line) or $35 (express) fee for admission to the observation deck.
