The weather was fabulous yesterday for our visit to the top of 235 Van Buren, which is speeding toward its topping out at 46 stories in the South Loop.
Joe Askins, staff photographer Michael Kardas and myself rode the construction elevator to the 33rd floor, walked the stairs to the 39th floor, then climbed the construction ladder to the partially complete 40th floor, where we shot the raw video above. We’ll have much more video and some great photos over the next week.
