Yesterday we showed you the starter castles in Roscoe Village; today we present the new breed of $1 million-plus single-family homes. These homes, on the 1700 block of Wellington Avenue, are more commonly seen than the mega-mansions. The median price for a new-construction single-family home in West Lake View was $1.1 million in the first six months of 2006, according to The Wilcox Company.
