Buyer takes over Rezko's failed condo development site

A condo high-rise may finally come to fruition on the one-acre site at Hudson and Chicago avenues after bankrupt developer Tony Rezko sold the site for $12.3 million on Monday according to a story in Crain’s Chicago Business.

The site is apparently zoned for around 240 units and Centrum Properties may or may not team up with the new property owner, Royal Apartments USA Inc., which has a background in developing student housing.
