Here is the condo building that will replace the old Stars Motel, as we told you earlier this week. Developer S & S Home Builders plans to build The Village Center, 6100 N Lincoln Ave, a five-story brick and limestone development of 40 two-bedroom two-bath condos priced from the low $300s to the mid-$300s.
Note how the developer has taken pains to keep the development in scale to the surrounding structures. Ok, we’re being sarcastic; as this is busy Lincoln Avenue, it’s only a matter of time before low-rises give way to the slightly higher and mightier.
