Ten East Delaware more of a Brahms moment for Lagrange

Click for larger imageNow that Lucien Lagrange has gone and put a soundtrack to his new X/O Condominiums in the South Loop, we couldn’t resist asking him what inspired him when he designed that other new project, Ten East Delaware. The Gold Coast high-rise is much more old school Lagrange, with its use of French limestone and intricate cornices.

He was just toying with us, but we liked his answer: “I think it’s more a classical composer, I was thinking more about Brahms,” he said.
