Aaaw, we get all warm and fuzzy when we hear architects saying nice things about each other. It just makes Chicago a more beautiful place. We asked George Pappageorge to name his favorite non-Pappageorge / Haymes building. His response? The Contemporaine (pictured) by Ralph Johnson.
“I like how the building has been subdivided volumetrically into an interesting composition,” Pappageorge says. “The dynamic of the forms creates an impact that is much stronger than the scale of the building itself.”
