One Museum Park (west tower) – nice unit, shame about the furniture

Here’s a model for The Enterprise Companies’ One Museum Park (west tower). When you look at the exterior of this high-rise, it’s kind of like looking at Mimi McPherson when you know all about her sister, Elle. That is, One Museum Park (west tower) is nice, but it’s not in the league of One Museum Park (Enterprise’s original tower, located to the east of this one). That said, it’s a little more attainable, and perhaps Mimi is too…

Anyway, the building will boast beautiful views if the Photoshop-ed model is anything to go by.

My main objection is the juxtaposition of the floor-to-ceiling glassy-look of this unit with the more classical furniture, almost as if the developer is trying to downplay the modernity of the building. It just doesn’t work for me. How are all the people who are buying these modern units in contemporary high-rises furnishing them? Does anyone else think this works?
