Here’s another new-construction walk-up condo development at 3440 S Morgan St in Bridgeport. Sheila Messer from Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Tells me that there are three three-bedroom / two-bath condos in this building.
The floor plans for the condos are all the same, and at about 1,700 square feet, Messer says they’re “the largest condos in Bridgeport.” Until I’m able to measure for myself, I won’t be able to say whether or that statement is true, but the Web site for the nearby elevator building at 826 W 35th St claims that that building has 1,900 square-foot three-bedrooms. So maybe they’re not the biggest condos in Bridgeport, but I get it: They’re pretty big.
Even though they have identical floor plans, pricing on the three condos varies from floor to floor. The second-floor unit is priced at $299,000, the third-floor unit is at $309,000, and the top-floor unit is listed at $329,000. Meanwhile, over at the 826 West Condominiums, three-bedrooms start in the $380s.
The condos have rear balconies, wood-burning fireplaces, and they each come with a parking space. (The top-floor unit comes with 1.5 parking spaces.) Messer says the building is still under construction, but that buyers would be able to move in within 30 days of signing a contract.
Of course, no Morgan Street condo development would be complete without ground-level retail space, and Messer says that this one measures about 1,000 square feet.
