In addition to her recent Lake Shore Drive acquisition, Oprah Winfrey apparently forked out $800,000 for a unit at Acorn Lofts a while back, it’s been reported. The seven-story building is a short walk from Winfrey’s Harpo Studios. The talk-show host apparently doesn’t plan to doss in the loft after a late shift, and it’s not clear who or what will be housed there.
