More from last Tuesday’s Community Development Commission meeting: Robert Kern, manager of Chicago Lakefront, LLC, and Steven Segal, senior VP at VOA Associates, present a proposal for a green development in the South Chicago area.
Chicago Lakefront was approved to purchase fifteen lots on the 8300 and 8400 blocks of Burley and Buffalo avenues.
This development will be a part of a larger redevelopment in the South Chicago neighborhood, which has been named a LEED pilot neighborhood by the U.S. Green Building Council.
