A restored Queen Anne in Oak Park, Part 1

Double-turreted Victorian homes are unusual in Oak Park, so I couldnt’ resist an opportunity to visit one.

My host was Tony Iwersen of Prudential Rubloff, who was holding an open house at the home, 1032 Erie St, an area of Oak Park dotted with Frank Lloyd Wright homes.

The home is on a beautifully landscaped lot, as you’ll see in this part of my two-part visit. It’s less than a 5-minute walk to the Metra station, shops and restaurants.

The 5 bedroom, 3 ½ bath home is priced in the mid-$900s.

In the second part of our tour we take a brief look at the home’s interior.
