Three months later, after adding one wall to create an extra bedroom, putting up new window treatments and painting the place, they decided to put it back on the market. The home sold a couple of months ago after just 19 days for $507,000 – nearly $40,000 more than they paid for it, according to Jarvis, who says marketing also played its part.
