Mark Stone was 17 years old when his dad bought two abandoned gravel quarries in Libertyville. At the time, he didn’t share his dad’s vision of the pristine environment he came to love on 77-acre Lake Minear.

After living in a much larger home in Riverwoods for 13 years Mark commissioned architect Irving Moses to design a smaller (5,194 square foot!) home on a verdant lot his family had retained at the northern edge of Lake Minear, a private lake in Libertyville. He’s lived in this utterly unique home for 20 years and, due to his wife’s health condition, is moving on.

The home is listed for sale with Coldwell Banker’s Meladee Hughes, who sponsored this video. Meladee can be reached at 312-636-8020.
