The Henry Rohkam house, 1048 W. Oakdale (above), is on the National Register of Historic Places. It’s also one of four (yup, four) properties in the Chicago landmark Terra Cotta Row district.
District. Landmark. Row. These words apparently have an entirely different meaning to the Commission on Chicago Landmarks than they do to the rest of us.
