Architectural historian discusses Frank Lloyd Wright and modernism June 7

If noon rolls around on Wednesday and the thought of seeing your coworkers’ faces in the cafeteria makes you want to dine at your desk, head instead to the Chicago Architecture Foundation’s lunchtime lecture series, held at the John Buck Company Lecture Hall Gallery at the ArchiCenter, 224 S Michigan Ave. Architectural Historian Lyman Shepard will present his lecture, “Frank Lloyd Wright – NOW – The challenges of Modernism,” at 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday June 7. The talks are free, no reservations are necessary and with a program time of 45 minutes you can brown bag it, learn something and still make it back to your desk without getting yelled at by the boss.
