Average market time, median price up for homes in Tri-Taylor

The median price for attached homes in Tri-Taylor increased by 9.5 percent from 2005 to 2006, according to stats compiled by Semire Kirgiz, a sales associate with Koenig & Strey GMAC Real Estate.

In 2006, the median price for an attached home was $279,000, compared to $254,900 in 2005. Other findings:

• Market time for attached homes increased by 32 percent from 2005 to 2006 (from 56 days in 2005 to 74 days in 2006).
• The number of units sold increased by 45 percent (from 49 units in 2005 compared to 71 units in 2006).
