The block along Spruce Street east of Glendale is only one of many handsome Winnetka blocks.
The block does have a special place in the memory of a woman who left it as a young girl but still thinks of it as home. I know, from YouTube mail I’ve received over the years, that she’s not alone in carrying fond memories of a North Shore home with her throughout her life. Sarah’s memories are what prompted by walk down this block today.
