Buy or trade for a condo at 5010 West Lawrence

We’ve written a handful of posts about the many new developments for which Jameson Real Estate has recently assumed sales, but 5010 West Lawrence is one of the few developments that the broker has recently dropped. Adam Matuszek from American Realtors & Associates is the new listing agent for the three available homes in this nine-unit development.

Developer EZBM Corporation is offering to cover closing costs and mortgage payments for up to two years at 5010 West Lawrence, according to Matuszek. However, the part of the listing that caught my eye is this: “Owner will consider a trade: land, multi unit, house, etc…” House swapping has been gaining popularity in recent years, but we don’t often hear of developers openly bartering their new-construction condos.

Matuszek says the three 1,600 to 1,700 square-foot three-bedroom / 2.5-bath condos are all priced around $400,000.

The development is located at 5010 W Lawrence Ave in Jefferson Park, next door to the 22-unit Kennedy Estates and just three blocks from the junction of the Edens and Kennedy expressways. Living next to two large interstate highways is probably nice for commuters, but it’s probably bad news for the air quality in that area.
