Yee-ha! Meet LR Development’s Canyon Ranch Living – Chicago (don’t ask us, we’re as puzzled by the name as you are). Apparently Canyon Ranch originated as a spa in Arizona, and since then the CR name won’t die and has evolved into a spa, condo and hotel condo concept in several U.S. cities including Miami and now the wild Midwest town of Chicago.
The 67-story building was designed by DeStefano + Partners and is a classic example of the Modernist high-rise-style ranch home, while its 680 N Rush St location evokes a sense of “canyon on a prairie in the big city.”
The actually quite interesting tower will have 256 condos and 128 hotel condos. Prices are not yet determined. We can’t tell you much more than that, but hopefully we’ll know more soon, so y’all come back now.
