New condos coming to Motor Row District

Car companies may release new models every year, but new construction in Chicago’s historic Motor Row District is about as common as a new Duesenberg or, say, good news from General Motors. That is, of course, until Motor Row Condomoniums moves into the neighborhood. There have been loft conversions in the District, which runs along South Michigan Avenue from 14th to 24th streets, but Motor Row will be an entirely new-construction, seven-story building with 94 condos. Units will have one to three bedrooms, and prices range from the $230s to the $400s. A sales center, at 2300 S Michigan Ave, is planned for an August 5th opening.
