Catching up with Chicago's new high-rises

Skyline along East Randolph

A while back, we asked readers to weigh in on which of Chicago’s planned high-rises would have the most impact on our fair city’s skyline. The 92-story Trump Tower is crawling skyward in River North, and The Chicago Spire‘s 2,000 spiralling feet would achieve Goliathian proportions if the building is ever built, but after being away for a couple months, Yo’s truly most noticed the mark 340 on the Park has made. The nearly complete building (second from right) at Lakeshore East is one of many in-progress high-rises we’ll be updating you on all next week.
