Prairie Station’s Chess Lofts is currently offering one year of free assessments on its one- and two-bedroom loft condos.
Provence Development Group Ltd. is scheduled to begin deliveries in late August, and construction is slated to wrap up in mid-October, according to the project’s Web site.
Steeped in Chicago history, the eight-story building, at 320 E 21st St in the South Loop, originally housed a record production and distribution facility for legendary Chicago blues label Chess Records.
The elevator building has 119 loft units with a fitness center, a dog run, a recycling room, bike storage and video security.
Interior appointments include stainless steel appliances, granite counters, 11- to 12-foot ceiling heights, hardwood floors and 42-inch maple cabinets.
Prices at Chess Lofts start in the $210s.
