Dreaming of a vacation home in Chaville? Well, unless some miracle happens with the value of the dollar sometime soon, a condo at The Chaville Condominiums in Peterson Park might have to suffice. Rick Levin & Associates will auction six remaining two- and three-bedroom condos in the 21-unit building, located at 5978 N Lincoln Ave, at a suggested opening bid of $150,000. Two units will be sold regardless of price. Prices previously reached to more than $500,000. The auction will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 31 at Maggiano’s in Skokie. Potential buyers can check out the digs during open houses from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on July 15, 22 and 28 and from 4 to 6 p.m. on July 24.
