Deal of the day: free flat screen television at McKinley Gardens

We wrote today that Bridgeport’s mini-housing boom is beginning to shift to McKinley Park. While Dubin Residential has begun offering three- and four-bedroom townhomes beginning in the high $200s in McKinley Park, Warman Development and Design is saying, “Hey we can do that too – and we’ll give ya a free TV.” Yawn. Another TV giveaway?

On paper, you’d think the townhomes at Warman’s McKinley Gardens development, 3250 S Western Ave, would sell themselves. They’re big for the price (the smallest three-bedroom has 1,782 square feet), they are all three stories high, and they include at least a 1.5-car garage. Not sold yet? Every unit also has a balcony and granite countertops. We could keep raving about the bay windows and the lush landscaping around this little community, but we’ll stop. The townhomes start at $299,000, which seems like a more notable deal than any silly TV.
