A while ago we were wondering what was in store at The Armitage Collection, that swanky-sounding new retail space under construction near the Armitage el stop. We’ve just heard that PJ Clarke’s has signed on for a 7,500-square-foot space, which is good to hear, because there really weren’t enough chain bars in the neighborhood.
But we were surprised, because we figured that The Armitage Collection sounded like it might attract something a little more rarefied, something that would fit in with a neighborhood where you can buy ski parkas for dogs, so we’ll be interested to see who else moves in.
