Early morning bunnies, beneficent neighbors in Ravenswood

Ravenswood rabbit

One of the pleasures of an early morning walk in Ravenswood is that when you pass an intersection that’s completely submerged after a night of rain, you’re sure to find a neighbor unclogging the sewer grates at 6:30 a.m. on your way home, as we did this morning. Another is that you’re likely to see literally dozens of rabbits, which have been multiplying like yuppies in the neighborhood in recent years. They don’t look as scary or radioactive live and up close as they do in this poor pre-dawn photo.
