On our recent trip through the South Side, we noticed that ground has just been broken on a site in North Kenwood – Oakland where a new single-family development will be built. We haven’t seen renderings, but the nine houses, at 46th Street and Woodlawn Avenue, will have four to six bedrooms, 4,000 to 5,500 square feet, two or three fireplaces and media rooms… not to mention a stunning view of the Masjid Al-Faatir mosque at 1200 E 47th St. Coldwell Banker‘s Chelton Blackburn is the exclusive sales agent for the homes, and prices start steeply in the $990s.
