Eco18 has Chicago's South Loop neighborhood seeing green

The site of the planned Eco18 development (pictured) doesn’t look too green just yet, but that’s about to change. The two towers slated at 1818 S Wabash in the South Loop will have numerous green features, including an accessible green rooftop, recycled materials, water-conserving technology and both solar-thermal and geothermal technology. And developer Dynaprop Development Corporation is pursuing the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Gold certification, available once the building is completed, according to Jody Ciral Williams, vice president of marketing for Jameson Realty Group. Prices and plans for the project are in still being finalized, she says.

A sales center is scheduled to open at 1832 S Wabash later this spring. In the meantime, check out the project at the Chicago Green Festival (booth 3103), April 21st through 22nd at McCormick Place.
