Next month, auction company Rick Levin & Associates is handling the developer closeout of the 292-unit Edgewater condo building at 6030 N Sheridan Rd. Eight one-bedroom condos will be put up for auction (the building previously offered studio through two-bedroom units), but the company is promising two units will be sold regardless of price. A suggested opening bid is set at $125,000. The building has 24-hour door and maintenance staff, valet parking, an exercise room, a convenience store and on-site dry cleaners.
