The Lake Forest City Council last night approved a plan to raze the wing of the former Barat College that houses Sacred Heart Chapel – a final blow to preservationists’ struggle to preserve the historic site. The demolition makes way for Robert Shaw’s $125 million Barat Woods development, 120 condos, townhouses and rowhouses on 23 acres at 700 E Westleigh Rd, the Trib reports.
