Sometimes it’s hard to visualize the impact a 92-story skyscraper will have on the look of our fair city, but with the pale blue glass starting to go up on the ol’ Trump International Hotel & Tower, now more than a dozen stories off the ground, we’re getting a better feel for what the finished tower will look like. It certainly promises to be much brighter than its two main rivals in the height department– the Sears Tower and the Hancock Center– and Mies Van der Rohe‘s landmark IBM Building, which Trump will all but eclipse on the eastern side, and all that glass is going to make for some spectacular reflections of the surrounding buildings. What do yo’all think– will Trump Tower shape up to be a sight for sore eyes?
