Guerilla Gardening on its way to Chicago?

Photo courtesy of guerillagardening.orgA reader at Apartment Therapy alerted us to the international Guerilla Gardening project. It involves locals from all over the world taking on a patch of ugly public land and gardening it during the night to create a prettier streetscape. The goal is to complete 100 projects across four continents by September 1. Considering the call to expand its “green fingered army” we’re sure the group would be tickled pink, er, green to have Chicago volunteers. For our part, we’d love to hear nominations for the ugly patches of the city most in need of some late-night TLC. Click on “Comments” below.
