Hiding problems in condo common areas

I’ve known Tomacor’s Tom Corbett for nearly 25 years, during which he’s been a consistent advocate for his clients — often at the expense of his relationships with real estate agents.

Earlier today Joe Askins and I sat with Tom at Nookie’s on Wells for a chat about some of the issues client-oriented home inspectors are facing.

Corbett sees a new trend in the real estate community to inhibit home inspectors from accessing the common areas of condo developments, “more often than not” in Corbett’s words, to hide major problems from buyers.
