How real estate agents interfere with home inspectors

I’ve known Tomacor’s Tom Corbett for nearly 25 years, during which he’s been a consistent advocate for his clients — often at the expense of his relationships with real estate agents.

Earlier today Joe Askins and I sat with Tom at Nookie’s on Wells for a chat about some of the issues client-oriented home inspectors are facing. One common problem, according to Corbett, is agents interfering with his access to a condo development’s common areas. That generally happens, in Corbett’s experience, when there are problems that agents would rather not see discovered.
