Garrett Kelleher of Dublin-based Shelbourne Development today acquired the site proposed for The Fordham Company’s Fordham Spire, according to a story that just popped up from Crain’s Chicago Business. According to the story, Shelbourne is in better financial shape to take on the project. Donald Trump famously scoffed at the idea of any bank financing The Fordham Company to proceed with the project, but now, it seems, The Donald really has something to be worried about.
