For those lamenting the sellout of Mildred Court, there are a couple of new, small-ish Lincoln Park condo conversions out there. Prices may be a little higher, but, unlike Mildred, these developments are offering parking:
Carroll Development Group’s 625 W Arlington Pl (pictured) has 16 gut-rehabbed condos, both simplex and duplex units, with one to three bedrooms and one to 3.5 bathrooms. Prices range from the $260s to the $460s and include one year of free parking.
East Lincoln Park Place, just down the street, at 603 W Arlington Pl, has 13 rehabbed condos. One-bedrooms start in the $280s and two-bedrooms start in the $320s. An offer of free parking is good for the first six months – maybe a smart move on the builder’s part, considering most people will be willing to shell out the extra dough when the next Chicago winter rolls around.
