As Mark and Carmen toured 565 Quincy‘s Q Room at last week’s “Wisdom of Q” event, I tried my best to get snapshots of the basement’s amenities without looking like a society photographer.
The party demonstrated the room’s ability to accommodate large groups, but I left wondering how busy it will be on an average weeknight. My initial thoughts were that it was a slightly dark space, especially the cavernous fitness room, and I wondered whether the lights were dimmed for effect or if that was the brightest they got.
The bowling lanes were as nice as advertised, and most of the night’s revelers seemed to enjoy the ping-pong and pool tables. I didn’t see anyone taking advantage of the putting green, though.
Belgravia Group is hosting another “Wisdom of Q” night on April 30. If you made it onto the guest list, check back in on Friday to offer your two cents on the building’s lofts and recreational space.
