The last time we posted on the Westernview Condos, currently under construction in Brighton Park, a neighborhood on the Southwest Side, it appeared that taggers saw bricks and mortar the same way Van Gogh viewed canvas. We had a look at the site recently and we’re happy to note that most of the graffiti that dotted the 36-unit development has been removed.
Priced from the $270s and marketed by Habitat, the three-bedroom, two-bathroom units feature the standard 42-inch cabinets, granite countertops, stainless-steel appliances, choice of marble or slate in the master bathroom and whirlpool tubs. Exterior features include front and rear balconies, a common roof deck and parking. The 12 new units that comprise phase two are now available, according to Habitat’s Web site.
